ITINERARY DETAILS
Day 1: Arrive in Danang – Hoi An Ancient Town (B/-/D)
Be captivated by charming Hoi An. Wander through the towns’ narrow streets, marveling at its heritage buildings and catching glimpses of traditional ways of life.
After landing, transfer to your hotel for check in. At leisure
In the afternoon, transfer to Hoi An. You will enjoin walking around Hoi An’s old town to learn about its illustrious past as a trading port. See the remarkably well-preserved traditional houses that have withstood hundreds of years of weather and war.
Start at the Japanese Bridge*, which spans a small waterway and was built more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.
Continue to a Chinese communal hall, a colorful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues and elaborate rooftops. Additionally, explore smaller laneways and local neighborhoods, gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm. After this insightful glimpse of Hoi An, enjoin the dinner.
After dinner, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Danang.
Day 2: Danang - Bana Hills (B/L/-)
Spend the day on the beautiful mountainous theme park. Marvel at the exquisite architecture of the Linh Ung Pagoda, Golden Bridge. Feeling refreshingly cool weather and gorgeous countryside views, and enjoy exciting games at Fantasy theme park on top of Ba Na hill.
Your experience today starts at 08:30 for 1,5-hour transfer from your hotel to Ba Na Hills. Start to spend a day to visit this mountainous theme park perched 1,500m high on a mountain, a hill resort inherited from the French. The site was first developed by the French in the 1920s, who escaped the summer heat for its cool, mountain air.
This day trip will bring you to the scenic sights and destinations of the local, and give you a healthy dose of much needed mountain air. You’ll first head to the Ba Na Hills cable car station where you ascend one of the world’s longest and highest cable car rides, giving you panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. At the station, get to see the Linh Ung Pagoda, Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion. Next, your guide will bring you the Monkey Garden and finally to God Mountain, the highest peak in central Vietnam. Stroll through the Golden Bridge amid the foggy hills of the mountain, enjoy the gorgeous view of Da Nang city. After lunch, head into Fantasy Park for enjoy some games later. Return to the hotel. Day 3: Danang city tour (B/-/-)
Discover the fascinating history and legendary beauty on this introductory half day tour of Danang. Start with a visit to the vibrant Han Market and the colorful Danang Cathedral. Head to the top of Marble Mountain for sweeping views of the coast.
Today’s tour will begin at 15:00PM. Set off early this afternoon for an introductory tour of Danang, Vietnam’s fastest growing city. Take a drive south to Marble Mountain, a group of limestone and marble hills filled with caves. Travel to the top and gaze upon the city, seeing new high-rise buildings standing alongside traditional wooden houses. Then explore the mountain’s main cave to see a beautiful Buddha statue built in the Cham style.
Next up is a visit to the Han Market and browse the stalls of this sprawling compound, seeing fresh produce and dried goods unique to the area. This is also a great place to get a glimpse of local life, watching the shoppers and vendors as they negotiate deals.
Then continue to Danang Cathedral. Admire the unique Gothic architecture and detailed paintings while learning about the history of Christianity in Central Vietnam.
The tour comes to a close with a visit to the Dragon Bridge that was designed and built in the shape of a dragon and to breathe fire and water each Saturday and Sunday night at 9 pm. It shines greatly bright under the dark night sky. Here, one can easily find a good spot to enjoy the spectacular water and fire performances.

Day 4: Danang – flight to HCMC (B/-/-)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to HCMC. After landing, transfer to hotel for check in. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: HCMC tour - Cu Chi tunnels (B/-/-)
Discover the best of Ho Chi Minh City and its surroundings. Drive through rural landscapes to the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about Vietnam’s wartime past and the ingenuity of its people.
Morning transfer toward the Cu Chi district. Leaving the city behind, the scenery changes to views of rice paddies, villagers drying noodles by the side of the road and other scenes typical to southern Vietnam.
Arrive at the entrance of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. Hear the tales of how these tunnels were built while walking through the forest. Visit two sections of the tunnel where it is possible to crawl inside to experience first-hand what life was like living underground. There are also several other informative displays and war relics around the area to explore. A shooting experience can be found here in Cu Chi.
After Cu Chi Tunnels tour, return to city and start with a walking tour (depending on the season, this order might be changed) through the historic city center and CBD. See the architecturally splendid City Hall, historic Dong Khoi Street, the Continental Hotel and the Saigon Opera House.
Then step off the main road into a historic building revolutionized by the city’s youth. Here, locally owned retail stores, coffee shops and art spaces offer a glimpse into the city’s creative generation. If time allows, relax and enjoy a local coffee at one of the building’s cafes.
Continue on foot to the Central Post Office. Here, you can also glimpse the former CIA building, where one of the last helicopter evacuations took place in 1975.
Stroll through lovely 30 April Park to perhaps the city’s most famous landmark - the Reunification Palace. Now preserved in a time warp, the ‘war rooms’ in the basement plus the opulent displays are fascinating.
Finish up the day at another historic site, the Ben Thanh Market. Still functioning as a local neighborhood market, the central location also welcomes travelers with a variety of stalls.
Having gained greater understanding of Saigon's culture and history, return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in HCMC.
Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (Cai Be) (B/L/-)
Discover remarkable Cai Be. Cruise the many tributaries of the Mekong Delta, wandering through vibrant tropical fruit gardens as well as visiting the town’s cottage industries. Step into a family’s house for an unforgettable dining experience, the perfect conclusion to a fabulous day in the Delta.
Today’s tour will begin at 08:30. Leave the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City and drive deep into the Mekong Delta on this Cai Be day tour. Upon arriving in Cai Be, board a private boat and start exploring the Delta.
Pass by trading boats laden with fresh produce while cruising past river islands, coconut groves, and fish farms. Go ashore at small family-run workshops making local specialties such as rice popcorn and coconut candy.
After this introduction to the Mekong Delta, get a closer look at the lives of its residents. Take a short walk through a local village and flourishing fruit gardens. Arrive at the home of a local farmer and his family. The house has been lived in by more than four generations and is a great example of traditional ‘Mandarin’ architecture. A delicious home-cooked meal will be served for lunch in the family’s house. Then take a walk through their fruit orchard to see the fresh seasonal fruits on the trees.
Say farewell to the host family and continue to Tan Phong Island. Take a local row boat through the narrow canals around the island, appreciating the tranquility and lush landscapes of this part of the Delta.
As the sun begins to dip lower in the sky it is time to return to Cai Be and onwards HCMC. Overnight stay at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure flight (B/-/-)
